YOUR UNUSED OIL IN YOUR BACK YARD OR DUMP IT IN A NEARBY DITCH AND BREAK
THE LAW.
WE DON'T CARE ANYMORE!
We are tired of being treated poorly by
government bureaucrats at all levels and environmentalists who do not
understand a thing about the mobile oil change industry.
Below on this page - please find
our former policies on the Environment and how we used to work so very
hard to do what was right - above and beyond the call of duty, because we
believed it was the right thing to do. Unfortunately we've had it with
Environmentalists and their Demands. We tried to please them, even
innovated new procedures and equipment to help our industry and our
team. We've spent money on R and D to bring these things to market for
the betterment of our shared environment, those days are over NO MORE -
from now on we will do the VERY MINIMUM and only as required by our
interpretation of the law.
Let me Explain Why:
After reading the
229-page "Green Guide Proposal" by the Federal Trade Commission on the use
of such phrases as "environmentally friendly" we've come to the
conclusion that there are just too many 20 and 30-somethings who are
socialist-liberals in Washington DC who treat Global Warming as some
sort of new-age religion. And we are watching as they attempt to mandate
their belief system onto the free-market place. You see, these
environmentalists have infiltrated all levels of our government and are
working to shut down anything to do with oil or fossil fuels.
Okay fine, but we give up, screw it, why bother?
Therefore - from now on we will no
longer attempt to be Eco-Friendly, Environmentally Responsible, or
"Environmentally Friendly" - and will
only perform our services with regard to EPA laws concerning our
industry and not an inch more. NO MORE will we allow environmentalists
to treat us this way. If
you don't like it tough - go hire some other company, or heck go change your own oil,
pay a higher price, or you can friggin walk or buy a horse and buggy as far as we're concerned.
Seriously, the environmentalists have pushed a bridge too far now. It's
obvious they don't care and throw every business into their same skewed
view that somehow entrepreneurship and capitalism are evil. You'd think
they were working for Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, Kim Jong Il, or Fidel
Castro.

perfect, when it comes to the Environment. Each crew goes through rigorous training and
fully understands how to dispose of used motor oil so that it does not enter our water
supply. We have some of the most stringent "Best Management Practices" in the
entire Mobile Oil Change Industry and we are proud to be able to make that claim.
No More Claims - No
More Extra Care For The Environment
The Oil Change Guys are an EPA compliant and fully insured company. We uphold the
strictest environmental standards assuring that you can feel comfortable using our
services. All of our services are performed cleanly and safely and no waste oil or fresh
oil ever touches the ground during our operations. Using our proprietary and unique
system, which includes state of the art, and top of the line containment mats and suction
devices, oil is never exposed and cannot drip or spill onto the ground.
We Will Respect the Law But Only the Very
Minimum
We have waste oil recovery systems on board and all waste oil is removed from the
premises and turned in to the local oil distributors or jobbers. We also have all used filters removed from the premises to be
recycled or disposed of by a certified disposal company. We have a cradle to grave policy
in place so that every item removed whether liquid or solid is professionally and
responsibly taken care of as the law obviously requires. Not only is this a major part of our mandatory training, but is
also on each check list. Before, during, and after all performed services we maintain
complete control of the entire operational process.

it's a free country, so go do business with someone else, we are not
interested. In fact, we are going to raise our prices.
